What is Chemotherapy? Chemotherapy is the use of chemical substances to treat disease and cancer. The side effects of radiation (chemo and chemotherapy treatment) can be both physically and mentally exhausting for any patient to go through. Almost everyone going through it wants to know chemotherapy side affects and effects.
